It finally rained in Port Aransas! We had thunder and lightning during last night and it started raining hard - all day till about 4 PM.

And my day in the office was good, I had even time to knit a little. A very welcome rest after a high-traffic summer..... .

Hi, Karin! We are less than 2 months away from taking off in our RV! Our house hasn't sold yet, but we are going to disconnect as much as we can of whatever costs us money while away. So....is there anyone you know in your park who is a F.T. RVer (Canadian) and who does NOT have a home based land line telephone? We are running into a dilemma. If we cut off our home phone and our sateliteTV...we lose our internet provider. We will have to change e-mail addresses, but then....which provider will work in both countries?
We are interested in Vonage...but they require we have an internet provider before they activate. If there is someone there with experience in all this electronic stuff...I would be happy to authorize you givcing them our e-mail address (while we have one!) and/or our telehone number so we can communicate directly.
Thanks....we will be in AZ December and January...and are discussing TX for February and we looked at the map for Mustang Island. Which park are you in?
Cheers!!
I'm getting excited!!

Suzy, please, scroll down to an archived post from March 23.: "In Port Aransas, Texas", where you can find the name and location in a picture (logo).
I will look if I can give you email addresses from couples from Canada we met in Arizona. I will send you an email when I am done. As far as I know we don't have fulltimers from Canada here, but I will ask tomorrow in the office, when another host is on duty who lives here already for one year. She might know. In any case, you will hear from me.
I would advice giving someone you trust the keys to your house, you never know what can happen....The realtor would have one anyway I assume. Till then, Suzy! Love - Karin.
